"How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the film cameras fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind."

Two straws.
Sunday:
Janet, my friend's wife off to Italy, on a jaunt (sorry work!)
"Should I take my camera as the last film got jammed?"
Husband (to me me quietly)
"Not really, but I'm not keen on her borrowing my Werra or Minolta XD7" (You can see who has been giving him camera purchasing advice!)
"Hey Janet - you can take my Panasonic FZ20, as its only for the week"
"Thank you, but no thanks. I want a film that I can take to the chemists when I come back, rather than do what you and my daughter do - put hundreds of pictures on the computer and never print them"
So on her way with my latest toy, the Vivitar 35ES (Konica S3 clone)
Today.
My wife "I want to give my mother a picture of Mark (our Grandson) for her 93rd birthday."
"OK, I'll do it this weekend."
"Not on that digital thing - Use your Nikon! I want a nice photograph, like you used to take of our children. "
Now then, its not just us "old fogeys" then living in the past?
