Just came into possession of a couple of nice lenses that are really BIG.
A 480mm f9 APO Nikkor and a 305mm f9 APO Nikkor. They tore out the big press camera where I work and were going to throw them away. They were used for shooting negatives for plates for an offset press. Although they are flat field lenses, by all accounts I've read they work well on large format cameras for landscapes, etc. No shutters--just diaphragms. I'll post photos when I get them out of the press camera lens board. Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with 'em!

They can probably manufacture just about any mount for any camera you would decide to use these with! I've used them several times to service some of my old large format lenses. ;D

Both those will cover up to 8X10. You could match them up with a Packard shutter, and a used 4X5 up to 8X10. I have an I-37 I use with a Packard.

I suspect they will end up on the auction block eventually. Large format isn't my thing. Haven't shot 4x5 or larger in---mmmmm--40 years.

Make a telescope! Make two telescopes!
I had a couple of long focal length lenses in the garage for ages, intending to to do just that, but with the recent garage conversion (to another en-suite room) I had to bin them. Show us what you come up with!
