Without knowing the circumstances John, that's a loaded question!

My son's partner asked the question. How dangerous was that? There was a famous announcement at one of our football matches:-
Mrs XXX has just given birth to a healthy 8lb baby boy - could Mr XXX please go to the hospital as soon as the match is over?
Regards - John

Sounds like an enormously tolerant spouse...or an ex one!

John, as a man I know the answer but if your son's partner is being taken to task by his wife then he'd be better off approaching it this way: a birthday is once a year while football matches are much more frequent. Do you please the wife and miss one game or give her reason to make your life a living hell the rest of the football season. Scary stuff. Walker
