We had a discussion on here some time ago about Patricia Cornwell (and I voiced the opinion that she'd lost it). Just read Kathy Reichs 'Break no Bones'. She's a very similar author, but I have to smile - this girl's conversations are in the vernacular, and I have serious problems in understanding what is being said.
Two nations divided? It would be interesting to see if members from the different areas of the US had the same problem?

John:
I must admit I've never read anything by Patricia Cornwell. But in the literary genre where I work there are still people claiming Billy the Kid died an old man in the 20th Century instead of being killed by Pat Garrett in the 1880s. You can find "evidence" to support just about any historical theory if you shop around long enough.

Patricia Cornwell turned to Drink and Lesbionism and she work went down hill from there. She went to Pot about 5 Books ago.
