I'd shoot 'em... No really, if you notify Ebay they will make the offender remove the photo.

Thanks, Randy I have written on my front page, that, "If you for some reason want to use the content of this site, I don't feel bitchy if I state, that it is polite to ask a permission first". I will mail him and tell, that he has been impolite. Other vise I don't mind but he/she?? has addressed pictures to my server and so using my bandwidth . Not a big deal but nevertheless.

It's a little confusing whether the camera comes with 2 lenses. If he used a photo from your website to show a camera he is selling, as a guy who uses ebay quite alot I think it sucks.

I can live with my pictures being "borrowed", but hotlinking to your site is naughty. Bandwidth costs money. Tim.

The person shouldn't be hot linking. If you don't object he should have the courtesy to download the photo and post it through ebay or through his own server. Of courrse what you could do is make a new copy of the photo with your name on it--or an obscenity or something, then replace the current copy on your site and that's what would show in the ad.

I had problems with folks using my web site images as items they had in auction. Contacted eBay and joined their VeRo program. The first time using it is a royal pain in the a** -- but after that, it's an online form that you email to eBay with the offending auction info.
eBay ended another one for me just last month. Guy was using my image, lifted right from my web site, and claiming it was the camera he had in auction. "Impossible" says I...."not with my serial number showing on the lens, it ain't!" eBay ended his auction within 20 minutes of getting my email.
