I promised to post some display case pics, so here they are. First is of the two shelves for cameras, which not all of my cameras are in there, but any I really like are in it. Click to make larger. This one is of the entire display case. I am buying a new display case soon for the phones as soon as I can save up, and will occupy the entire case pictured here with cameras. Click to make larger.

Alex,
That is very atractive. The glass shelves allow much better lighting than my solid Ikea shelves. The doors will minimise dust unlike mine which require constant dusting.
I think you should remove "Wannabee" from your avatar. You are without any question a confirmed "Camera Nut".

Thank you Mickey.
Display cases with glass shelves and doors are HARD to find, but my father runs a fleamarket, and they turn up every now and then.
I will go remove wannabe from my avatar right now!
Thanks, Alex

Alex, I enjoyed not only your camera collection, but your telephone collection too! We are still using a black rotary dial phone daily. We also have a Princess phone for those 'press 01' occasions...

Alex,
I'm a retired telephone guy (40-yrs) and the only thing I kept were coffee mugs and paper weights.

When I was a kid there still were a few crank telephones around and you could get them for just about nothing. Wish I had done it.
