Uh Oh--Methinks I've got a shutter problem starting in my Spottie. I was looking through the latest bunch of photos and noticed a definite gradation in the blue of the sky from right to left in the image. All the images with the sky as background show it to a certain degree, but it is very pronounced in this shot: Shutter sticking? Looks like it's time to send it to Eric. Roy

Roy,
Were all the pictures taken from the same position and in the same direction? I'll wager the sun was just a little to your right, hence the lighter sky. Poor cameras, blamed for everything.

Actully, I was shooting in all directions as I tracked the aircraft all over the sky. It is more pronounced the farther above the horizon I was shooting, but it is present in all shots against the sky. Roy

It may be there on below the horizon shots too, but it is hard to tell without a uniform background. Roy The shot of the diving Sea Fury was taken facing approx. WNW with the sun approximately over my right shoulder. In this one, the aircraft are approaching from almost due south, and the sun is to my dead left. Roy
