I really like the look of the old "Waffle" grip Minolta lenses with the bright rings. Minoltas should probably be displayed with "Period Correct" lenses but I just like the older models a lot better because they look "Classy." Any thoughts, opinions?

Probably for "proper" display the period camera and lens should match, but to me it makes no difference personally. I am not that particular about the display, but the brand must match.

Another nice recovering there, Randy.
I always kind of admired those add-on meters...they make the camera look either ugly or near depending on the eyes of the beholder.
To me they are neat. I have on on my Pentax H1.

Randy,
Love the light color covering on your SR-1.
Too bad you covered up the lens, can't see what lens it is. I'm guessing a 55mm 1.7 but it could be several others.
Hey, I see you are into trains. I've got a drawer full of HO G/N Brass and close to 100 N-scale locos in G/N, Erie and E-L.
How many cameras have you covered? I'm dying to reupholster my chrome XD-11 in a light tan/brown lizard or snakeskin.
