The Minolta's: Hi-Matic 7Sll, Hi-Matic F (Like Peters G but with rangefinder) and the Minoltina S and the Konicas: Konica C35 & C35 Automatic, the f1.8 variant of this camera, the Konica S3 and an early Konica Auto S Best of the lot? The Minoltina - lovely litle camera - far ahead of its time - an early 60s product that introduced the compact 35mm genre long before the Konica C35. Paul And the blur in the middle of photo - odd effect of software,? lighting? No, as I have just discovered, damn great thumbprint on the lens! Ah well, its a good thing I'm a collector, not a proper photographer!

How is the lens on the 7sII? I played with the idea of finding one today. I really liked my Himatic 9 when I had it.

Paul, Nice assortment! The only Minolta RF I have is the F. It is a good little camera and takes great pics...except if subject is backlit...that lighting you have got to avoid. I have looked at 7sII's but end up not getting one as I have heard of so many problems with used ones, and, of course, they are not available new. Say Paul...you continually ignore any comment I make as to letting us see an avatar or posting of your face without the camera in front of it...sorry I must be a PITA, but I just like to see members' faces... Ron, Its not that I won't, its simply I can't. My wife doesn't use a camera (she says one camera obsessed person in the family is enough!) and normally finds great difficulty with the Nikon FE2. My new point & shoot digital may open the way! I have been through the selection of recent photos - total eight! One you have seen, the rest are of me and the Grandson of which this is typical, but not really suitable for an avatar! I will have to arrange a portrait sitting! Any one got a stand camera? Paul P.S. Just found one my daughter in law took of me taking pictures from Birminghams giant wheel. The expression on my face? Pure fear! Not a "happy bunny" at that height even though it is quite safe!

Paul,
Thanks for the look. And you did change the one on your avatar as well so we get to see more of your face.
That shot of you and grandchild with your respective lawn mowers is a keepsake!!! I love it!!
