This is one of the largest SLR 35mm cameras I have seen from it's time, so it is pretty interesting. This is a Petri FT1000. Uses the M42 Screw Mount. Came with a lovely 55mm 1:1.8 lens. Here are the images.

The earlier Petris had a proprietary lens mount and an angled shutter release on the front of the body. My first SLR with an instand return mirror was a Perti V. (Now that really dates me)
