Cattle, Stop-bank (Levee), Willows against the flanks of Mt Thomas. The Falcon on Mt Thomas Rd Mt Keretu from Kennedy's Hill. In the windy but temperate archipelago that I call home, autumn & winter are often wonderful times to be out on a bicycle. Cool & calm right through the day. The bicycle is a classic, English-made Falcon from the early 70s. The big black thing is a Japanese made canvas handlebar bag, great for safely toting cameras. The photos are presented in the order that they were taken, on some of my favourite local roads. Camera was the Oly C-750 UZ The haze in the 2'nd image is produced by the lens, as I shot into the sun, but I don't think it's unpleasant in the context of the sign and the autumnal tones.

Michael,
Beautiful pictures. The first one is like the landscapes of English painters of the 19th century.
