I ventured into Toronto yesterday to meet up with my friend Guy (whom I met via RFF). He's recovering from a bad leg fracture from slipping on an icy sidewalk this winter. Ironically, he's a lifelong skier. I'm recovering from a bypass procedure, so we commisserated over a pint at the Duke of Richmond pub. Guy is a serious rangefinder shooter. He owns a Leica M2, M3, and M4-2. The M2 and M3 are in the shop for some fine tuning, so he had his M4-2 along. I had my lowly Canon SD800 IS ultracompact digi :-) Gene

Mean looking machine. When I was in the military we used Canadian-manufactured black M4s. The government kit included a M4, 50mm lens, 135mm lens and either a 28mm or 35mm (I can't remember which) lens. I guess the Canadian M4s are valuable now.

Thanks Wayne.
It was good to be able to make a trip downtown again. Mickey, we'll be ready for that coffee at Balzac's soon!

Gene,
Don't rush things. I'll be here and so will Balzac's.
