Hi Randy
Looks like the standard efficient family motor - the Mazda 6. The clue is in the model type, the MPS. Only external differences are the fog lights on the front apron, twin exhausts, and the slightly raised front bonnet. That's the channel for the air intake scoop to the turbo. My son has had a go, and he reckons I'll kill myself (he drives a BMW 3-series convertible). You put your foot down, and you can't stop laughing, it's just so much fun!
I was on the motorway today and there were a bunch of cars in the fast lane (the legal limit is 70, and the guy at the front was sticking to the letter of the law). I was sat behind them, minding my own business when an Audi A4 came up behind me. Flashing his headlights for me to pull over - I don't know where he expected me to go. Eventually, the chap at the front (he had a nodding dog in the rear window) pulled in, and the cars behind him overtook and pulled in one by one. Finally, I was left with a clear road and Audiman was about two feet off my exhaust, still flashing his lights. So I put my foot down. After half a mile I took pity and pulled in and slowed to a normal cruising speed. It took him a good five seconds to catch me and overtake. Have to admit - there was an exchange of gestures....
Unworthy of me I know - but I don't care!
Regards - John

Sorry John, since the late 1970s most cars all look the same to me, that's why I had to ask.
