Well - what did you expect? !! Actually, these are just two young stags feeling their oats. The rutting season was over months back... Red Deer Stags Fallow Deer Stag Nanook of the North! My usual problems with grey snow. Thought I had it cracked by setting the K200 to compensate, but it wasn't enough. I've dragged the white levels up a bit in PS, but it would have been a lot better to get it right in the first place... Regards - John

Try setting the WB to cloudy and using a good UV filter. Then it should be easy to nail white snow. I struggled a lot till I really got down to experimenting.

Great shots John, the gray snow isn't that bad, it's the yellow snow you have to watch out for.

Problem is, we never get the opportunity to practise over here - the snow's gone, and we probably won't get any more for a year or two!

A white sheet on the wash line in different lighting conditions would work.
