I didn't shoot this. Our daughter took the photo on Easter of Sara, me and our grandbabies. She needed a fill flash and she could have Photoshopped my hair to a darker color.

I think I've seen that guy on the right in the Sears Roebuck Catalog.

Nice one for the family album, Wayne. Yes, it could have done with a weak fill flash, but very weak because of the danger of burning out the lighter skin tones on the kiddies. Either that or bounce the flash off a card reflector
Back when I was using a big Metz hammerhead flash and a Canon A1 or F1 I would have set the camera on manual, chosen the stop and then told the Metz either that the lens was wide open or that I was using a faster film. Something to be said for the older film cameras with flash contacts that could handle a big adjustable-power hammerhead flash, but I'm too old now to lug all that stuff around.
Oh,
Prossibly easier to do some local dodging on the face shadows ? Anyway, darkening your hair is cheating; I think it's natural color looks more distinguished.

Roy:
The foot is getting better--I guess. Sort of frustrating. The ankle still gets puffy if I try to go without my support stocking during the day. And it still aches enough at night to wake me up. My aches and pains are minor compared to the physical problems some people have but I still don't like it.

Good to hear it's progressing. Hang in there my friend. Just don't schedule any marathons soon! Roy
