Was on my way to pick up a camera case last night and was running ahead of schedule. So I stopped and snapped a few shots on the Boise River. Oregon-bound wagon trains passed this site back in the 1840s, '50s and '60s. In those days the river was green oasis flanged on both sides by sage-covered desert. Nikon D300, Tokina 12-24mm zoom.
