Good going Mark. I've been into a few things during my latest but of unemployment. Last week I stripped down and relubed Yashica Pentamatic lens. Earlier I partially stripped a Komura tele zoom and found the errant screw that was jamming the zoom/focus collar. Still trying to free up the balls in a Kiron 28/2.8. I think the lens got dunked. The ball races are seized. Been trying that one, Periodically, over five years now!

I've never had the nerve to tackle repairs on an SLR. I've completely torn down and replaced the curtains on several of my Soviet rangefinders (essentially cheap Leicas) but that was several years ago and I probably would have to learn all over again. I have enough parts, including curtains, stored away that after I retire next spring I may do rebuilds on some of my FSU gear that currently doesn't work or doesn't work as well as it should.
