It looks like one of those great British WWII movie scenes. The commandos are silently planting explosives under the roadway. I can hear the Nazi troop/supply train approaching. The sentry has stopped for a cigarette. Suspense.................

Just like Mickey mentioned: Looks like a still-picture from an old movie. I can also hear the steam-locomotive in the distance blowing the whistle. A beautiful picture !

Yea, fog gives a subject a whole different feel. We don't get fog like this too often and this one made the roads slippery with heavy frost.

Thanks, it was a colour shot taken with a D700 at iso 200 and converted to B&W in Nikon's NX2 RAW converter software.

It's just about perfect. Even the composition is magnificent. This is a shot that should be blown up and mounted somewhere! ;D
