Hi ! I peeled off the faulty leather from a 2.- USD 1975 white Polaroid SX-70 Model 2 and replaced it with (artificial ) croco-leather ( 17.- USD ). It took me two and a half hours to scrape the old one off, because it fell apart in millions of pieces. Finally i cleaned the surface with a chemical adhesion remover. I know its only a Polaroid, but i like it... MIK

I always thought the white SX-70's were a cheap plastic version of the silver ones until I found out recently that the silver was just a finish on the plastic frame. All these years, I thought they were stainless steel or aluminium. Nice job on the reskin.

Hi Ron !
I`ve just inspected my "original" silver SX-70s and found out that you are absolutely right ! I also thought, that they were made of aluminium. Now i have learned something new. Thanks, MIK
