One month ago I had a nice gift from a friend of mine who found in his grandfather's house a...''strange'' camera and not having interests in photography or photographic gears, he decided to give the 'strange camera' to me....a nice Zeiss Super Ikonta 531 A. This lovely camera became the responsible of my folding mania....and now she has four sisters: a Voight Inos, a Voight Bessa, another Zeiss Ikonta 521-6 and a lovely Balda Baldina (not in this shot as I bought her later). I have the intention to try to use them, now I am searching in the internet some manuals to download and have as a matter of fact found something, the cameras looks in extremely nice conditions and perfectly working....I have just to learn how to do it! I noticed a few of your other posts so I will say welcome in this one. I see you are well on the way to having your house over run with cameras and that is not a bad thing from where I sit. I'll admit to owning a Super Ikonta 531a and find it very appealing. Medium format in a very portable package. If you like folders the 35mm folding Zeiss cameras may interest you also.

Ciao, Paolita, Welcome to Camera Collector where virtually everyone is afflicted with some kind of mania(s). I too suffer from folding mania and have over 90 folders from 35mm up to 8"x10", mostly Kodaks. At the mere sight of a folder I lose all self control. A red bellows can send me into a frenzie of gottagetititis. "now I am searching in the internet some manuals to download" Try this - www.kyphoto.com/classics/instructionmanuals.htmlYour pictures of cameras in your various postings are beautiful and you have surely inherited your father's photographic, artistic talent. Ciao Paola !
Benvenuta to the camera collector. You`ve got a very fine and well selected collection of folders and a very interesting website with brilliant pictures. The most beautiful cameras are the donated ones... Saluta da Vienna, Mik
