Very nice little camera, and a beautiful photo--once again! I think that you will find it a very capable performer if you care to run some film through it! Roy

Thanks Casualcollector and Roy for the lovely comments. Yes I will try to use the camera and test it, there is a tender memory concerning this camera, when I was a very little child my late father used a lot a camera like this one, and the reason why I have bought it is because my father's Vitomatic has been lost and I loved the idea to include in my little collection the same camera by father use so often when I was borned. He took nice photos with Vitomatic, I will try to do something good myself.

Hi Paola ! As Randy mentioned: A beautiful camera and and display ! I also like the 1960s Voigtländers. Is this Rome ( maybe Florence ?) pictured at the vintage photograph ? MIK

Hi MIK, glad you like the photo. The vintage photograph is Rome, one of the oldest bridges on the Tiber River. Thanks Paola

Paolita, this Vitomatic is not a rangefinder camera, it just has coupled exposure meter. The "big viewfinder" models tend to have the silvering of the Albada finder deteriorating, but it seems your example is fine though.

Paolita: I´m new to this forum, just joined a few days ago. Your camera is one of the nicest and best cameras made by Voigtländer during the ´50s and 60´s. For almost the same reason as you had, I bought a Vitomatic IIb: it was my dad´s camera, also bought in Italy, and unfortunately also lost some time ago. Hope you enjoy yours as I do with mine. BTW, later I bought another IIB and a IICs. Addiction? Surely yes! Cheers Ernesto

Now that you have this one, you should look at the Vito B. It's like your camera but without a meter. It's a bit smaller but is an excellent camera.
There were two Vito B models: one with framelines and one without. And there were two lenses offered: f/2.8 Color-Skopar and f/3.5 Color-Skopar.
Voigtlander also made a small rangefinder that slides into the accessory shoe. It can be used with Voigtlander's 35mm and medium format camera, as well as any other camera.
