Anybody know if a Vito BL ever ready case would fit a Vitomatic IIA camera? (I guess I would need to make an aperture in the bottom to see the frame counter, but from photograhs of both cameras it seems that it might work).

Hi !
I also think that this would work. I have only a BL with case indeed, but the Vitomatic was developed further from the B-series, so I think they should have the same dimensions. As you mentioned, the difference is the film-counter of the Vitomatic at the bottom side of the housing.

I guess it wouldn´t as the all Vitomatics are a bit taller than the old (before 1960) Vitos. I don´t have here my Vitomatics but I´ll check height (and other dimensions) to be sure. Any Vitomatic will fit inside any Vitomatic ER case. The case for non metered cameras is a bit smaller in height than those made for metered cameras (say about 8 mm less). After 1960, height of almost all Voigtländers were standardized so ER cases height is the same. This do not apply for the "squared" bodies for the Vitos and Vitorets made after 1967 which are wider than those having rounded bodies. Cheers Ernesto
