I enjoyed DWI but why, oh why, did the guy that put the video together use the tango La Cumparsita as the background music?
The tune has nothing to do with Italy. Nor, indeed, has the tango. The tango, as a dance, is supposed to have originated in Argentina, but La Cumparsita (which I think means Little Marching Band) was composed by Gerardo Hernán Matos Rodríguez, in Uruguay, about 1916 and is probably the most famous tango ever written.
Perhaps Julio down in Montevideo has any comments?
