Having just flown to the other side of the world and back in 8 days (Wellington-Christchurch-Sydney-Bangkok-Dubai-Prague, Prague-Dubai-Bangkok-Sydney-Christchurch-Wellington) for an academic conference, it was nice to take a day off and visit the beach with my wife. Wry Kiwi Humour: Castlepoint Light, Wairarapa, NZ.

Hi! If that's "Wry Kiwi Humour", I'd love to see more of the same ! That beach & lighthouse shot is very nice. I wish our beaches were as empty and peaceful as that one appears to be.

I can imagine after a trip like that you might feel that you had lost your soles. Looks like you picked a great spot to find them again. Welcome back.

Thanks, ntr. What's the story behind the home the lost soles?
There is a bar in New York, which has umpteen bras hanging from the walls and ceiling - or so I'm told, I've never been there myself, but I knew a couple that did hang out there. There are a few pics of it on the www, but nothing of the standard of your photos.

A "couple" of what that hung out there? Probably no one on the NZ beaches cuz it's winter there. W
