I hope the next shot isn't after the car has run over him.

John, I've missed you! I was on the verge of starting a thread "Anyone know what's happened to John?" Dave.

Left my computer at home, and didn't go back for three weeks.
You'd have enjoyed our result on Monday...!

Well, I was definitely a fan of Bert Trautmann: Joe Mercer too. Two of the all-time greats.

Chuck Taylors are awesome shoes.
I started a black and white gallery on my site and here is one pic that is in there. I started to like shooting black and white ever since i used my two Rolleiflexes, so ill have to start shooting more and white.

The Minnesota State Fair is Aug 26 through Sept 6 every year, one of the biggest in the U.S. Known for the food, machinery hill, the rides in the Mighty Midway, and of course all the animals (which i didn't get any pics of). I went twice and i think i got some nice shots, what do you think? Here is a link to the gallery on my site andysphotos.zenfolio.com/p505290022Andy

The are probably 20 stands throughout the fair every year. Nicely done photos and after seeing the crowds there I don't thing I will go. The old farm machinery and the night shots are my favourites. Bob Yeah sometimes the crowds are pretty big. There was a record attendance set on Saturday Sept 4th with 235,000 people in one day! Andy

Andy, wonderful. The only disappointment is going to page 4 and finding but one photo on it. I don't know Pronto-Pups, but they were certainly formed in a good year. Had they been open in parts of the Far East they might have been selling the real thing on a stick.

It seems to me that the Pronto Pup only lasted a few years out here on the west coast. They were replaced by corn dogs, which are a poor copy, IMHO. I used to love watching the automatic machines prepare and cook the Pronto Pups in view of the hungry public. Crunchy, hot, --DELICIOUS!!
Deep fried, too, so were not real good for you, but who cared?!!
Of course, I last had a Pronto Pup when I was 10 or 11 years old, so memories could very well be fallible. However, they were the only reason my Dad would go to the fair with us. He didn't like the crowds, but he would go for the Pronto Pups! ;D

It seems to be working for me, but then again i am able to see anything on my site. Is page four working for everybody else? Are you able to see all the pics if you use the sideshow? Andy
