i recently acquired 2 new(old) lenses. i believe they are konica ar lenses. #1 is made by bushnell, automatic,135mm f1:2.8. $3.00. #2 is a konica hexanon ar 200mm f1:3.5. with a brushed aluminum collar at the aperture markings. $5.00. both lenses look like the glass and function are beautiful. the question being, since a konica is the 1 camera missing from my collection, is there an adapter made for these lenses,,or are they throw aways?

johnw,
Like any demented camera collector you are obliged to hang on to those lenses, for decades if necessary, until the appropriate camera comes your way.

The Hexanon 200 is a beautiful lens. Why not get yourself an AutoReflex T3 and have fun with it! The later electronic series (FS-1, FC-1, FP-1 or FT-1) also take the AR lenses, and they were seriously good cameras in their day (the FS-1 was the first 35mm SLR in the world with an in-built motor drive - get a late Serial No. one if you can, or better still the FT-1). Still are, although I wouldn't recommend an FP-1 unless you are thinking of building up to a full set!

I agree with John P. The Hexanon lesnses are suberb!
I would say look for a T3 or T3N.
They are built like tanks and are excellent SLR's and Greg Weber can provide service and parts if ever needed.
