Hi ! Another camera which I bought ( for 12.- ) from an internet offer these days: The Revue electronic C with Olympia-Logo ( Munich ) from 1972. Revue was a trademark of a big German mail-order house. The camera has a Automatic Cosinon 1:2.7/38mm and is fully working, even the battery for the meter. The camera looks like the Konica C35. MIK

MIK,
That looks very like the Ricoh 500G I used to have - but then I guess there were umpteen cameras of that era which looked similar. I think the Yashica T2 replaced it. It was a good little camera.
Dave.
I should add that it replaced it in terms of my cameras.

Although outwardly similar to the Ricoh 500G, the 2 cameras are quite different in design and function. This is a badge engineered Cosina 35. My secret squirrel Googleing tells me that a member of this forum has one badged as an Argus: www.flickr.com/photos/7356924@N02/537538594/The 500G was my 1st rangefinder. Mine is rather more tatty than the one in the above image! The 500G is distinctive because the light alloy body (painted black) extends out to the edge of the camera, with "front and back" rather than top and bottom plates. It is also a full manual/AE camera. Michael.

Michael, have many thanks for your investigations and the pictures, my Revue is definitely a Cosina 35 variant. Never seen with an "Argus" brand, but I guess Curt has many cameras I`ve never seen before MIK

Hi MIK! I've had a couple of Chinon variations, also had a Ricoh 500 which, unfortunately, I no longer have. It can be fun just collecting rebadged Cosina and Chinon cameras, and not as easy as you might think. Doug
