The last one sure beats the special effects which come with the likes of photoshop. Which cruise ship was 2 taken on? I might have waved at you from P&O.

The cruise ship was the Dawn Princess (on Alaska's Inside Passage). The rain photo won third place the Oregon Press Assn. photo competition in about 1970. I shot the picture through the front window of the newspaper office. The Seaside City Hall is across the street. It hasn't been modified in any way.

I glad I put those first shots up: some wonderful windows here. It is always amazing that something which is just there to let light in has so many different forms. Some, are of course, to look out of - to look at the view. This view from this window would have looked somewhat different in early June some 65 years ago:
