Hi ! We have got temperatures up to 27° C (!) the last few days, so the outdoor flea markets started early and the hunting season has been opened ;D. My last weeks found ( appr. 12.- USD ) is a Yashica Electro 35 GTN ( from the mid 1970`s ? ) in black finish with Color Yashinon DX 1:1.7/45mm. The camera and the case has no signs of usage, even the battery cover ( no battery inside ) looks brand new, which suggests that this camera had hardly been used. I am no expert on Yashica RF`s, but this seems to be a remarkable model, because it has an aperture preselection mode and a film speed setting from 25 to 1000 ASA. It`s a pity that 35mm film is difficult to find here… MIK

You are doing well, both with the weather and with the flea markets. Got to agree that the Yashica is a gem but not so little in it's class. I have always had good luck with Yashica lenses on their RFs. If you road test it show us some results.

Here are a couple more with brushed chrome. The one on the right has the "Yashica" logo inverted. Mickey

Hi ! Does anybody know the type of battery ? I did not clearly found out on the internet. I did not made pictures with a Yashica RF before, but I think it is worth trying Mickey, your chrome models are looking beautiful too ! Why does the one have a inverted logo ? For mirror pictures ? A drunk assembler ? MIK

MIK,
Battery is a 5.4 mercury volt drop in Mallory TR164, Eveready E164 or Duracell TR164R.
As for the inverted logo - Perhaps it was meant for Australia.
