This camera came to me without enough information, the only information I got is only the name 'revuenon' in front of the optical lenses and 'made in Japan' mark at the back of the camera. After desperately searching in the net, finally I ask one of my friend and he give a link that describe some information about the camera with the same shape of mine. They called the camera : Revueflex I think it is a fully mechanical SLR with electronic metering system using 2 LR44 and one LED as a battery check lamp, use the M42 lens mount and can use the metering system in wide open. I found only a little info about this brand, hopefully anybody can help me to get more information about its accessories, lenses or anything. thank you .. didon.- * it came to me with 3 fixed lens... 35mm, 50mm and 135mm ... the optic is clear enough for the bargain price ( $ 70 ) * Revuenon 135mm f/3.5 - lens made in Japan

Rachelthank you, Mam ... that is my youngest daughter, Dhania. I took that pict 2 years ago when I tried the 135mm Revuenon using my dslr. Like everybody else, I think, majority of my photo is consist of pict of my kids.... Putri and Dhania, and fortunately both of them were very happy to be my models..... and of course I start to 'poisoning' them with my toys.... *... this pic was taken by Dhania, using Olympus XA2 didon.-

that looks very much like my Argus CR-1 I believe it was made by Chinon around 1975. But that's about all the information I could find on it Those are some very nice pictures of your girls, It's nice that they've caught the camera bug too. Galen

didon,
Your camera is, indeed, the Argus CR-1.
It was manufactured by Chinon who also made the CR-2 and CR-3 between 1975 and 1979.
They were distributed by IMC Division of Interphoto Corporation, not by Argus.
It has a Pentax M42/Praktica lens mount.
The CR-1 designation was engraved on some cameras and a decal on others. It was sold under various names.
It sold for $279.95 with a 55mm f1.7 lens.
More info if you wish. Thanks to Henry J. Gambino's "Argomania".

Mickey, yes, like Galen said it was look like, or the same camera with different name, with Argus. But I think my camera using name Revueflex according to the lens that I got is Revuenon , that describe in this side www.collection-appareils.fr/foto_quelle/html/Revueflex_2002.phpwww.collection-appareils.fr/foto_quelle/html/Revueflex_1001.phpbut after read your description, I am sure that Revueflex is have relation with Chinon or Argus. so may be if I want to find some accessories, I can start from Chinon or Argus database because it was so difficult to find information about Reveuflex. Is it a French brand origin or from other country? didon.-

I really like the black and white image. That one will be precious to them when they are older.

Putri and Dhania are beautiful models.
With your influence they are probably well on their way to becoming first class photographers.

Now that I shun camerapedia and contribute to camera wiki, I'll let them explain best. Revue was a name given to many cameras rebadged by a German store. Here's the link: camera-wiki.org/wiki/Foto-QuelleHope this helps. Chinon made some fine cameras but if you're looking for lenses, many many manufacturers made excellent lenses in M42 that will work just fine.
