I was given this a few years back. It was very clean, other that the normal battery terminal corrosion. I'm sue, of its type, its a nice camera but one thing really puts me off: it is fully automatic with no real indication what is going on. I did test it a while ago, but thought I would get it going again. I didn't have the correct Mallory RM-640 mercury batteries to hand, but I did have some zinc-air batteries (A675). There are the same voltage, 1.4v, but are smaller in all dimensions. Three rubber 'O' rings in each compartment and a nut with its centre packed with aluminium foil did the job.
