Looks very nice - and no batteries to worry about.
It looks as though the front cover normally just hinges up (rather than being removed) when in use.

I give up ... on that really nice light meter there are 3 scales: O,C, and A. O is light shield open and C is closed.... What is A? I see that the A scale is 2 EV numbers down from the corresponding O scale. Is it compensation for a filter? I like the camera too.. that's very nice looking.

Orlin in SC/USA A is the Light Value scale. So is the LV dial...read here... camerapedia.wikia.com/wiki/Light-value_system

Hey Dawg! I got one of these today at a flea market for 3 bucks. It's in VERY rough shape, but I'll see what I can do with it. The hot shoe is missing, the shutter stuck open, and it's missing a couple of screws (I've got a few loose ones myself). I suspect that someone got a little heavy handed trying to get the top cover off I'll give it a good home. Doug

O= flap open for poor light. C=flap closed for harsh light & A=accessory for very poor light. The meter has a shoe on its side to accommodate a extra selenium cell. Very rare because you never see the accessory selenium cells for this or any light meter. Great camera. Now you will need to get the wide & tele lens with viewfinder to match. Be sure to get the f2.8 one.
