Randy, It looks lovely in alligator skin! I've been thinking of cutting up one of Barbs' old handbags to use as a camera covering. She threatened me with bodily harm Imagine the possibilties! A camera with a cover by Vera Bradley!! Doug

Randy, That is beautiful.
I gotta try recovering a camera. I'll start with an Argus C3.
What solvent do I use to remove the present skin? And what glue to add the new hide?

I haven't done it myself, but I have heard of people buying old handbags at the thrift store to use for camrea covering. The fake animal skins in a multitude of colors I could go for. Vera Bradley, not so much.

I was serious about the handbag covering, not so serious about the Vera Bradley thing I could just picture legions of fashionistas going into fits at the thought of their favorite designer ( plug in name here) bags being cut into little pieces. Doug
