That's right, Hye. But with the Canon, it's easy. Roy

Hi Roy,
When I install a Takumar SMC lens with the P adapter, the aperture needle just stay above the lower limit mark and the aperture mark on the lens is not centured, about 10° to the right, is it normal, Thanks

Good Morning, Hye:
The aperture index mark on the lens being offset a little bit is not uncommon.
Does the meter needle move when you turn the aperture ring or shutter speed?
I will dig out my set-up later today and see exactly what mine does.

Hi Roy,
Yes the meter needle does move and aline with the aperture needle with both the aperture ring and the shutter speed ring,

Any tips on how to remove the top? I can't seem to get the winder lever off, no matter what I try. Also the rewind knob puzzles me. And how to get around the flash.
Tricky little beast.
