Was off to garage sales and spent $10 on cameras and a tripod. The Pentax program plus had all the books. And a Pentax flash The Minolta just the camera. I also got a Vivitar P&S not shown. KennB

The SMC 50/1.7 alone would have been a good catch.

Yes, two excellent cameras you have there. I remember well the 'Program Plus', although here in the UK it was released as Program 'A' for some reason, and also the Super 'A' which I think was the top of the range A series model SLR's.
You won't go wrong with the Minolta either. Superb lenses as well.

Someone has a lot to answer for: if he hadn't discovered a method of recording a scene electronically cameras like these would still be worth a lot of money - and Kodak would still be a name not to be trifled with.

Mickey & Grenouille, I think we three leave in the wrong part of the world for camera bargains. There is a stall in a local market which has the occasional camera or suchlike. It's a good place to pay too much for anything.
