Hi All! I've been rather busy, and didn't have the time to take a shot of my new project. Now I do. It came with the lenses shown, the flash, and a Yashica case (a neat little brown leather one). All together for 10 USD. I had to buy a parts camera for $1.00 to get a film advance lever. That was cheaper than buying the lever alone! It works, and will be getting a new covering as soon as I decide what to cover it with. I'm happy with it and am going to take it out for a spin soon Doug

Doug
My first SLR was a Yashica 230AF and I have to say the lenses were pretty darn good. You should get some good results. IIRC the Yashica shares the same mount as the Contax so if you luck into a good deal on some Zeiss glass you have a body that can use them too. Let us know how you make out with it.

I think the FX-3 was totally mechanical, can't quite recall now as I only really remember the FX-D Quartz reasonably well. Yashica were good cameras and as Bob has already mentioned, they share the same lens fitting as Contax.

I have an FX-3 in my project box. That covering is really sticky. I also have an FX-D that I plan to fix up some day.
