I am impressed by both the pinhole camera image and the salted print process which is almost 200 years old.
Splendid work.

It's handy for Col that he was around soon after the process was first invented. I believe salt beef was a slightly earlier process, but along the same lines.

I believe salt beef was a slightly earlier process, but along the same lines. Dave, Newfoundland's salt cod was invented over 600 years ago and is still in daily use world wide. BUT - the pictures don't come out very well. In UK English it is called Toe Rag. But what can we expect from a language that puts a horse race on its head and head wear and footwear on its cars?
