I hope everyone is and will be safe until this thing passes. They are saying Ohio will be getting wind gusts of 50-75mph. I also live within spitting distance to Lake Erie, and they are calling for high water and flooding here. This is certainly a strange time of year for this.

I have a lot of family in Toronto and up in Nova Scotia, it might have died off before it gets up there, we can only hope it passes without doing too much harm to anyone in its path.

Well I got up this morning to find a massive roof leak in my bathroom.

Hi guys!
It looks like we dodged the bullet on this one. The storm was supposed to pass right through our part of the state, but tracked a bit more to the south. Apart from a lot of rain, and some higher winds, we didn't sustain any damage.

Toronto Reporting.
Lots of wind with gusts up to 100kmh and almost three straight days of rain. Some damage with fallen trees and hydro wires and flooded basements and roads. About 65,000 without power but it is being quickly restored. Nobody has been injured. This thanks to the lessons learned in 1954's Hurricane Hazel and timely warnings and advice from all levels of government and responsible agencies.
I hope those that have suffered from this storm are quick to recover and get back to normality.
Update.
One woman was killed when a sign fell on her.
The wind has increased and it's raining again.

Thankfully, the wind died down here, and we have a repairman up on the roof. He said the wind tore the flashing from around our chimney right off to the land of the lost.
