This is a four shot MF pano, (Mamiya 645AFD, Provoa) taken near Brecon Wales last winter, Dec 23rd actually, on the way back from Cardiff (To Hay-on-Wye)with Christmas supplies: The pathway in the lower right was the route the Romans cut loooooong ago. It's still in use. The image gets squashed a bit due to the compression here and for a much larger and more detailed shot go here if you like. www.pbase.com/lulalake/image/39265263Thanks and Cheers Jules

Jules,
Think your original photo was deleted after you made the post. Looks very impressive on PBase. How do these work? Its a composite of 4 shots - does the camera do the merge or do you merge individual prints in Photoshop or similar? Can't see the joins!!
Regards - John

I stitched the shots using an inexpensive and basic stitcher called Panorama maker www.arcsoft.com/products/panoramamaker/I’ve tried several (well many) pano stitchers, including the one in PSCS. They all do fairly well, some better, some worse. This shot was fairly easy, as the colors were very uniform from one shot to the next. This actually had one more shot to the right but I couldn’t get it to resolve as I was handholding the camera and had too much camera shake in that one. I’m currently Beta testing some new software that seems to outperform anything that I’ve seen yet. It should be released next year. Regards Jules
