Hi Mickey,
So glad we can see your pictures now.
As to whazzit? Well:
A. The roof structure's fallen in. B. The groundsman of the park dumped some old railings there for the winter. C. Ditto, except that he also dumped the broken bits of a kiddies' adventure climbing frame. D. I've run out of ideas.
When I said click Preview to see if the pic had transferred OK and was the right size: under the box where I'm typing this are five small check boxes, and underneath those four longer ones marked 'Post Reply', 'Preview', 'Spell Check' and 'Reset'. Don't you get these on a Mac? I thought they were part of the program that ran this board, but maybe they wouldn't work on a Mac. It's ages since I had a Mac, a G3, and I've forgotten the keyboard layout at the bottom left, but on a PC the keyboard command for preview here is Alt+P. I don't think it would be Command+P on the Mac, but I seem to remember there's another toggle, just to the left of the space bar?, the equivalent of the Alt toggle on the PC.

Peter: I thought those four boxes were there for everyone, as part of the board features. Can't understand why they should disappear on a Mac. ....but I do only see two small check boxes as I write this.... As to whazzit? I agree with your " C" answer. I was going to suggest it was part of some childrens swing set, or similar yard toy, unceremoniously dumped on the back deck! ...and I'm glad we can finally see your pix, Mickey!

Looks to that an aspiring artist decided to work on his/her next masterpiece on the back deck then realised that he/she could not move the piece from the siad deck.

I offer $100 for it...who goes to $101!?

Ron,
It's all yours - before you change your mind.
This past June I bought a DIY Gazebo. I was assured instructions were simple and it would only take 3 or 4 hours to assemble. The instruction sheet was all pictures, no words. Six days later I got it finished and securely nailed to the deck. I subsequently learned that there should have been a second sheet of detailed printed instructions. About 6 weeks ago we had a ferocious wind storm with gusts to 100 kmh. It blew the entire gazebo (110 lbs it said on the carton) up on to my roof and shredded the fabric. A large part of the framework was hanging over the side of my house threatening the eavestrough and my air conditioner unit should it fall. It took three of us to manouvre it back on to the roof and down on to the deck. So there it sits waiting for Ron, a truly sensitive lover of fine art.
