Saw this on ebay last week. I found some good reports of its optical performance in two different places. So I bid for it. Won it for £0.99p. with a low postage charge. It arrived yesterday, looks to be a nice lens.

The Panagor 135m lenses had a good reputation, made by Kino Precision, (Jaco corporation), in Japan, who later made Series One items for Vivitar. Only a tad soft at max F2.8 aperture, best at F8, good contrast, and usually mechanically sound. You cannot go wrong at that low price anyway! They were distributed in the UK by the Apparatus and Instrument Company Ltd., -- AICO (Ltd). Panagor's name was not used outside Europe, Elicar was the US branding.
Aico had a problem with supplies in the UK in the 1970's, they never seemed able to supply what was ordered, it was usually on back order.
