This morning the Voigtlander Vitomatic 2 arrived from an eBay auction. I have a really nice Vito B already. The Vitomatic has a working exposure meter, at least the needle moves freely and the rangefinder appears to be accurate. Clean inside and out.
It has the Color Skopar f2.8 lens and a not very nice ever ready case, but not bad for £2.25
I still prefer the simple compact look of the early Vito B with the small viewfinder though.

Nice camera, especially for the price, your lucky if the meter is working, the cells can die. The Skopar lens should be all right for good performance lens. Stephen.

I am with you on the early Vito B - unfortunately, there would be no room for the light meter or rangefinder. My Vitomatic is fine even with the rough treatment I give it. The light meter completely agrees with my Ikophot light meter and Canon 650D digital camera. I have lost the case mine came in (in fact I have lost the cases to most of my cameras. Somewhere in this house there is a large pile of them, but I don't know where!).
Old light meters are strange beasts. I want a Vito BL with a working meter but the three I have bought have all had broken meters. The BL used a Bewi meter and I have a hand held Bewi meter from the same period and it is fine and robust. Not sure why they are not when fitted to a camera.
