Just arrived in the post. A mint Tamron 28-70mm f 3.5 - 4.5 model 44A macro zoom with Adaptall 2 mount for Minolta MD in box. With a Tamron 62mm Polarising filter, 62mm Tamron Skylight filter, one rigid and one rubber lenshood. All for £7 ....... I am using Yashica, Konica and Olympus bodies, so the Adaptall mount is going back to ebay.

The 44A is one of the best Tamron zooms, I keep looking for a cheap one. You did well getting one at that price.
If you don't want the hassle of ebaying the Minolta mount let me know how much you want for it as I broke one a few weeks ago when I dropped a lens, but the lens survived without any damage at all. I was lucky!

Hello Lloydy,
The Tamron mount is on ebay at the moment as item 321321820042 the starting price is £2.99 with a buy it price of £6.00.
Last night I bought a Sigma 50mm f2.8 manual Macro lens (1:1) in mint condition. I am going to buy an adapter for that to fit my Nikon 3100. (Non AE non AF etc.) That cost me £25 but I still think it is a bargain because I am keeping it to use. R

See how it goes on the bay, you might get lucky as there aren't many other places to get them any more.

This will allow you to meter and use auto exposure on your D3100. I have several and they are worth the £20. You can program the chip so it gives meaningful info on your exif data.
