Long haired collies tend to be a bit temperamental over here. They went through a spate of popularity a few years ago (along with Alsatians = German Sheperds) and we had quite a lot of inbreeding. Border and Welsh collies tend to be more popular. We had a short-haired collie called Gyp. If you waved at him out of the window, he would bark, run to the end of the road, bark again, and run back. Easiest dog to exercise in the world !
Bull terriers are nice dogs - they just look bad !
Regards - John

Bob; I'd prefer your clients to mine, at least they don't complain about your print prices Steve

Years ago, when my sons were small (about 25 years ago...somebody's getting old here ), we had a beautiful mixed breed -- part collie and part retriever. She had a face and ears shaped like Maddie...fur that long too...but she was almost the color of Fletch...maybe a little more golden-hued. We called her Sham (for Champagne), and she was absolutely the best dog ever. Easily trained, obedient, and a joy with three little boys! She was irreplaceable. After her passing, we went to cats.
