The first - great. Looked at this and thought about rifle sights aiming into infinity - everything coming together, perspective. Outstanding.
Glanced at the second - yes nice. Then looked at your bridge shots, and wondered what's the wreath all about? Then back to the first two.
On re-appraisal, the side of the bridge is too distracting - the rivets take your eye from the rest of the picture. Back to the second. Same pluses, nice contrast between the bridge sides and trees, looking into the white snow 'tunnel' along the line. Less distraction towards the right. Not one to hang in the lounge but a nicely composed photograph. OK - very OK

On the other hand.... Maybe the rivets are the picture in the first, and there is too much distraction from them in the rest of the picture.
See what happens when you get too metaphysical!
Four nice photo's Bob. Oh yes - and what a strangely shaped roof on the bridge!

The architecture of the covered bridges I find especially facinating. For some reason, we don't seem to have a lot of them out here. In fact, I can probably count on one hand how many covered bridges I've driven through. Steve
