Just a bit of a tribute or a reminder to keep your pets on-leash when near rivers in the spring. Was shooting a local river and had a guy ask if I'd seen his dog as it was just swept over the rapids and sucked down the river. Spent 2 hours searching both shores and all the next day searching for 2 1/2 miles but no sign he ever came out. and . Just for scale, the first rapid on the left is 6 feet or roughly 2 meters high at the crest and there are eight or more in sequence followed by two miles like the secod shot before the river dumps into a local lake. As a big time dog lover I've been sick thinking about this so just thought I'd post as a possible warning for others to ALWAYS use a leash on your pet in the spring near water. Sorry to be so morbid and thanks.
