The Nikon looks a little out of place with the three black bodies

That is only appropriate that the Nikon FM3A looks out of place since it was released in 2001 - at a time long after autofocus has been introduced and digis were starting to take hold. I appreciate the full hybrid shutter system that has aperture priority when batteries are good yet full shutter speeds available in manual mode when batteries are dead. This is a good read about it -> Nikon FM3A

you really do need to appreciate cameras with at least some manual shutter speed, it always seems the battery is flat at the worst possible moment (or your a little dull like me and remove batteries for storage and forget to grab them as you head off on that trip)
Very nice group of camera's though.. also must be at least a little uncommon as I havent run across any of them in my searches

Nice group of compact SLR's.
Compact SLRs are easily my favorite film camera style. They are fairly light, quick handling and produce great images.
The only cameras I own in this category are Minolta XD, XD-11 and X-700 but there is still room on the shelf for an Olympus, Pentax, Nikon and Leica.
There are probably many others in this general size but I'd have to compare them when they pop up.

Nice to see you posting again Dan. You were gone so long I thought you had gone for the last roundup.

Thanks Randy. I lost a couple of computers over the years and it takes a while to get reorganized. With shifting areas of interest, needs, obligations and life in general it seems like a reset every few weeks.
I still like cameras, .22 caliber guns, model cars, trains, airplanes, horses, tractors, chainsaws and whatever strikes my fancy tomorrow.
