You probably won't get affected or taken in by this, but there is a seller that keeps putting really expensive Rolleiflex items on ebay at a starting price of £1 this listing directs observers to another website address where the items are for sale at £1000+ obviously to avoid ebay fees. The item is withdrawn shortly afterwards. Just a waste of everybody's time. There might be other examples but I haven't seen them.

ALWAYS REPORT such listings, they are more common on cars etc., very high value items, where the fees would be high, and it is tempting to try to by-pass EBay, using them as a introduction service rather than an auction or sale. Such listings may not break the law, but rather the contractual terms that the seller agrees to when they put the item up for sale.

Stephen I did report this listing. Tonight it is back on, it is a digital back for a Rollei 6008 AF at £1.
PLEASE READ
WARNING. This time I clicked on the listing and was immediately asked to reset my ebay password! I have checked this out with ebay and this is suspicious activity, it was interference by an outside agent and they are dealing with it. Watch out for similar listings. Have done the appropriate things.

There seems to be no limit to this person's persistence. He has put it on ebay again, I have reported him again.

The item has been withdrawn tonight as of 11.42 UK, presumably after the report that he was postings links in the item description that were against the rules. Stephen.

The other item next to it that he had posted provoked a big red warning flash up on my screen. He needs his membership withdrawn. Rapidly.

unfortunately these guys appear to have several different member IDs that they use, they are no sooner removed as 1 and reappear as another.. always looking for you password and other details.. give out nothing unless your 100% sure and although it may be a little cheaper to deal outside ebay.. in the long run it costs far more

He's put it on there again! Very persistent.
And somebody is actually bidding on it!

He's put two Rolleiflex listings on again. As soon as you click on them a big red warning comes up. Needs dealing with by ebay. (Not possible to report them.)

You can report them on the main page, by identity, or phone Ebay.
