A friend gave me this, last year. I dismantled it to see if I could fix its shutter problems, and then it sat, in parts, while the house was repaired, after the flood. The shutter wasn't closing fully, and the slow speeds weren't working. I retensioned the shutter springs, and flushed out the escapement with white spirit. The 1s speed worked fine while the escapement was wet, but was very slow after it dried. I decided to experiment with lubrication, and squirted some dry lube into the gears. So far, the 1s speed is fine.

The camera is now closed up. I didn't resolder the meter wires, as the battery housing has been wrecked by a corroded battery, and I'm not likely to use the camera. This camera is a rebadged version of the Petri MF-1
