I finally was able to win an auction for the F250 motordrive/ recording back for the Nikon F. It was horrendously expensive, but how often do you find one with the original boxes, battery holder, cables and (original) manual? at least here in Europe chances are very slim, i know they can be found in Japan and so but after paying (inporting) taxes and other costs they become even more expensive. Untill something better comes along i will refer to it as "my precious"

Wow!! I would need an assistant to hold that machinery. How much film can it take?

The F250 holds enough film for 250 exposures - - about 33 feet = 10 meters of film.
We had one of these on display at the camera store where I worked in the 1970s. Lots of people asked to see it, but I do not remember ever selling one.

Well the F250 was rather expensive, following a 1970 price list it cost 801$ (without further neccesary accessoires) while a nikon F with 50mmf2 was 316$. Given its specific purpose i think the customer base for this kind of kit wasn't that big.
